Re-Tree WNY joined the national convention of the North American Association of Environmental Educators (NAAEE) in planting 11 trees in downtown Buffalo on October 1, 2010




The trees were planted to neutralize the estmated 73 pounds of carbon that the convention of 1,000 gives off via their energy usage. The NAEE also donated $2,500 to Re-Tree

BUFFALO PUBLIC SCHOOLS FUNDRAISER FOR RE-TREE LAUNCHES ON TV

Sally Cunningham from Channel 4 will appear live at South Park High School during Channel 4's Sunday Morning Wake-Up show (8am-9am WIVB-TV) to help kick-off a fundraiser in the Buffalo High Schools for Re-Tree WNY. Students from South Park and McKinley High Schools (and other Buffalo High Schools) will be selling leaves to be hung on oversized painted trees in the school hallways.
