  • Sixth Annual Buffalo Enviro-Fair to take over Niagara Square on April 20th

Buffalo Enviro-Fair will pay a return visit to Niagara Square to celebrate our planet two days before Earth Day. Numerous exhibits by eco-organizations last year included Tifft Nature Preserve, Grass Roots Gardens, Blue Bicycle, Re-Tree WNY, and many more are expected this year. Last year, tree seedlings in reusable drink tumblers were given out courtesy of Natale Builders, which is introducing a silver certified green homes community about to be constructed in Clarence. Jamba All-Natural Energy Drink distributed free samples of their juice-based beverage. Re-Tree WNY planted a tree near City Hall and offered re-usable shopping bags for a $2 donation.

Re-Tree WNY sets sights on Spring, 2012

We are hoping for some "windfalls of funding" by Spring, 2012 so we can meet our goal of 30,000 trees planted by our dedicated volunteers. This will be the "five year mark".

We will need to buy 6,120 trees to get to this goal, so we have a lot of fundraising to do (this is about $400,000-$500,000).

Spread the word to help Re-Tree WNY. Thanks!
